Mido has insisted he is happy to stay at Middlesbrough after speculation suggested he could be on the move to Wigan in January.
The Egyptian international has struggled to gain a regular starting place for Boro this season, with Tuncay and Alfonso Alves ahead of him in the pecking order.
Mido, who has scored five goals to date, has made an impact when coming on as a substitute and Gareth Southgate has indicated that he remains part of his plans.

"One of the reasons that made me sign is that they have plans and dreams they want to achieve, and I hope to be a part of these dreams."
