Wigan are being linked with a move for Ricardo Fuller, who could leave Stoke on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Fuller is due to fall out of contract in the summer and Stoke have yet to offer him a new deal, meaning he could walk away for nothing when the current campaign comes to an end. The Jamaican did himself no favours when he was sent off at Chelsea last month but he is now back available and hoping to prove to Potters boss Tony Pulis that he is worthy of another year. However, rival clubs are showing an interest and Wigan are said to be among them as Roberto Martinez targets a replacement for Hugo Rodallega, who will leave the DW Stadium in the summer. Pulis is unsure what the future holds, but says he has been a terrific player for the club. "Whatever happens with Ric, he has been one of the best players to have ever represented this club," Pulis is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.
