Granqvist cuts Wigan ties

Andreas Granqvist said he was happy to leave Wigan to "develop further" at his new club Groningen.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract in an ?1million (£794,000) switch from the Premier League to the Eredivisie after failing to impress at the JJB.
"I see FC Groningen as a club where I can develop further," Granqvist told the club's official website.
"I have not played much at Wigan Athletic and, for me, it was important to now choose a club whose football suits me best.
"I am a player who prefers to build [the play] delicately rather than use the long ball. I'm still young and I want to be happy.
"I see in Groningen, a club that gives me this opportunity."
