Latics land Forest trip

Wigan have been drawn away to Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

Forest edged past Fleetwood 1-0 on Monday to seal their spot in the draw and have been paired with the Premier League Latics, who fell at this same stage last season after a 2-1 defeat at eventual semi-finalists Crystal Palace. Ties are to be played during the week commencing August 27.
