Wigan goalkeeper Mike Pollitt has no intention of retiring just yet after penning a new 12 month deal with the club.

Pollitt failed to make a single appearance last season due to the outstanding form of Ali Al-Habsi but he is still happy to stay at the DW Stadium and push the Oman international all the way.
The keeper enters his eighth year at the club but says he is not thinking of hanging the gloves up just yet and hopes to keep on playing for many more years.
"I'm delighted," Pollitt told the Evening Post. "There's been one or two other clubs enquiring, but I wanted to stay and I'm more than happy to sign for another year.
"People ask when I'm thinking of stopping, but I feel fit and I want to keep playing. If I still feel as though I've got something to offer at 40 years of age, goodness knows what I'll be like at 45 - people will start calling me Peter Pan!
"But in all seriousness I just want to keep going for as long as I can, and I'm still enjoying what I'm doing at the club. Goalkeepers nowadays tend to go on for longer and, if I can keep taking care of myself, I see no reason why I can't."
