Latics wait on midfielder move

Steve Sidwell is set to make a decision on his future with Wigan, West Ham and Fulham all said to be in the hunt to sign him.

Sidwell is on the look out for a new club after being told by Villa he is free to leave and the Premier League trio are all keen to get the former Chelsea man on board.
The 27-year-old would prefer to return to London and that makes West Ham and Fulham favourites but Sidwell is waiting to see who gets the manager's job at Craven Cottage before making up his mind.
Wigan are also in the hunt but Sidwell is reluctant to move further north and that could rule out Roberto Martinez's chances of landing him.
