Martinez eyes World Cup ace

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is desperate to secure a deal for striker Humberto Suazo, with Sunderland and Birmingham also interested.
The Latics are set to table a club-record £7million bid for the 29-year-old Chilean in a bid to beat their rivals to his signature.
Martinez is still battling to keep hold of Hugo Rodallega, who has been linked with Arsenal and Aston Villa, and the Spaniard sees Suazo as the ideal replacement should the Colombian opt to continue his career elsewhere.
However, the Wigan boss is thought to be keen to secure Suazo's services regardless of whether or not Rodallega decides to move on and will launch a bid soon in a bid to win the race for the World Cup star's signature.
