Arsenal are reportedly ready to join the chase for Wigan forward Victor Moses, who is also wanted by Chelsea and Liverpool.

The Gunners have set their sights on the Nigerian as doubts persist over the future of Theo Walcott at the Emirates Stadium after talks over a new deal stalled. The England international has just 12 months remaining on his existing contract and Arsene Wenger believes the Latics star could the perfect replacement if Walcott wants to move on. Moses certainly isn't short of admirers after also making it clear he wouldn't be signing a new agreement with Wigan, although chairman Dave Whelan has done his best to put off potential suitors by slapping a £12m asking price on his head. Chelsea have already cooled their interest in the face of that valuation, but Arsenal are unlikely to be deterred if they can find a buyer for Walcott. Liverpool remain in the picture as well after being linked with the former Crystal Palace trainee soon after Brendan Rodgers' appointment as boss at Anfield, while Manchester City could be another alternative according to some reports.
