Moses replacement eyed
Wigan are lining up a move for Everton striker Victor Anichebe as Victor Moses closes on a move to Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea have already failed with one bid of £4million for Moses but are ready to make another and Latics are busy looking for a replacement as they know the striker will eventually move on. Latics are fighting hard to keep Moses and have offered to double his salary but the player has his heart set on a move away especially now that Chelsea have declared their interest. Wigan will not let him go on the cheap but it is thought a fee will eventually be agreed and Moses will become a Chelsea player before the summer is out, despite interest from QPR and Liverpool. Latics are on the look out for his replacement and reports suggest they will offer Anichebe the chance to get his career back on track after he lost his way at Goodison Park. Everton are happy to sell and will use the money to complete a permanent move for Steven Pienaar.
