Scharner in no hurry

Paul Scharner has spread panic at Wigan by revealing he is in no rush to sign his new contract.
JJB boss Steve Bruce has made no secret of his desire to tie the Austrian to a new deal to prevent him from running down the remaining 12 months on his existing contract.
However, Latics' current Player of the Season, who underwent surgery on his nose to free up the passage to allow him to breathe properly after being overlooked for Euro 2008, has insisted he will not be rushed.
Scharner told Evening Post: "I can say there's nothing new. We're still in touch and speak about it.
"I have time."
