Wigan midfielder Jason Koumas has retired from international football after reportedly consulting Latics boss Roberto Martinez.
The former West Brom and Tranmere star is currently struggling with a hamstring problem and wants to make sure he plays on for as long as possible.
Koumas, 29, won 34 caps for Wales after making his debut against Ukraine in 2001 but will now focus on club football.
