Striker set for exit
Wigan Athletic, 14:07, July 21, 2008 ,
Hull are hoping to open talks with Marlon King after the striker returned early from Wigan's Austrian training camp.
Tigers boss Phil Brown is keen to add more goals to his ranks and believes that former Watford striker King would be a valuable addition to his ranks.
King has only been at Wigan for six months but Latics boss Steve Bruce is happy for him to move on and both Hull and Derby County are known to be keen on him.
The Tigers would be favourites to land him as they could offer King regular football in the Premiership and talks are expected to begin sooner rather than later.
