Boss considers move for African star

Wolverhampton Wanderers, 13:56, January 31, 2010 ,

Wolves are considering a move for Egypt striker Mohamed Geddo who has caught the eye at the African Nations Cup.

Geddo, who can play either up front or as an attacking midfielder, is the tournament's top scorer going into today's final between the Egyptians and Ghana, even though he is yet to start a game in Angola.
Mick McCarthy is not alone in wanting the prolific marksman from Al-Ittihad with Fulham, Sunderland, Celtic and Real Sociedad also thought to be showing an interest.
The 25-year-old has so far scored against Nigeria, Mocambique, Cameroon and Algeria.
