Terry Connor has been formally interviewed for the manager's post at Molineux as Wolves begin the search for a new boss.

Connor, who was put in charge until the end of the season following the sacking of Mick McCarthy in February, put his case forward in a meeting with owner Steve Morgan on Monday. Whilst he remains a popular figure at the club it would come as a major surprise if Morgan was to offer the post on a permanent basis to a manger with no front line experience and whose three months in charge have offered up not a single victory in the Premier League. Connor is the first to be interviewed for the post but there are likely to be plenty of experienced managers interested in the role, as there was in February, but the club would like to have the vacancy filled sooner rather than later.
