Wolves have been given a boost with the news that young midfielder David Davis has signed a new deal at the club.
The 21-year-old has been one of the few shining lights for the side this season since he returned from his loan spell at Chesterfield and he has now been rewarded for his efforts. Despite a campaign which has ended in relegation, Davis is delighted with his new three year deal at the club. "I have been learning the trade whilst I've been out on loan and now I'm back here playing in the best league in the world. It's a big achievement for me," he said. "Obviously, us getting relegated has been a bitter disappointment but I think that we can bounce back and I would like to play my part in that objective. "But this new contract really is the icing on the cake for me. It's secured my future at my club Wolves, the club I want to play for. It really is a dream come true."
