Dann fancies Blues over Wolves

Wolves look to have missed out on Coventry captain Scott Dann as he is set to join Birmingham for £3.5m after agreeing personal terms.

The 22-year-old defender was poised to move to Molineux to boost Mick McCarthy's defence but has instead been persuaded to make St Andrews his new home.

The former Walsall starlet moved to the Ricoh Arena in January 2007, along with Daniel Fox, and was said to be close to joining Wolves before Blues came in with better terms after both clubs had bids accepted by the Sky Blues.
