Defender boost for boss

Wolverhampton Wanderers, 14:52, November 25, 2009

Wolves look set for a boost on the injury front with Ronald Zuber ready to return to training and hoping to be fit to face Blues.

The Frenchman missed the drubbing at Stamford Bridge last weekend because of a thigh strain he picked up in training but he has responded well to treatment and is now closing in on a return and should be fit for the showdown with Birmingham.

Boss Mick McCarthy told the Express and Star: "I think Ronald will train tomorrow, which will be good and a boost to us.

"It's just a slight thigh strain, so we're hoping he'll be fine."
