Duo facing late checks
Wolverhampton Wanderers, 14:35, November 20, 2009 ,
Wolves will give late fitness tests to Kevin Doyle and Ronald Zubar ahead of tomorrow's game against Chelsea.
Doyle is back in training after playing in the Republic of Ireland's draining two-legged World Cup play-off against France which went to extra-time on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Zubar is undergoing treatment on a thigh strain he picked up in training ahead of the game with the league leaders.
"We'll see what the situation is with Kevin. He had a long old game on Wednesday night and he played well too," said boss Mick McCarthy.
"It was a tough game and a tough ending which will have been hard and will have an effect on all the players.
"They won't have slept very much on Wednesday night because they'll have been chewing on it - probably the same last night and tonight as well thinking about what might have been because they deserved it over the two games.
"So we'll have to look at Kevin physically because he played for 120 minutes on Wednesday night and finished at 11pm."
