Injured Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey is happy with his current rehabilitation programme and is confident of a full recovery.

The Wales international suffered a torn cruciate knee ligament in the draw with Sunderland in April and missed the end of the 2011/2012 season. Hennessey was ruled out for six months as a result of the injury but the 25-year-old revealed on the club's official website that his rehabilitation is going well and is confident of a complete recover. "On top of my programme with the physios I've been doing a lot of swimming which is brilliant as it really gets the heart going," said Hennessey. "I've been doing a lot of work on my knee weights and getting the muscles firing around the knee so they don't lose too much strength. "It can be lonely when you're coming in on your own in the summer but it's certainly peaceful! "I want the best for my knee and that is to come in and follow the programme from the physios who are great to work with. "You can have all their attention over the summer and they have given me a good schedule to follow." Hennessey is expected to return to action in either late September or early October.
