Hunt still on

Wolverhampton Wanderers, 09:25, January 29, 2010 ,

Wolves are thought to be preparing a fourth and final offer for Stephen Hunt after having a £4m bid rejected by Hull.

The latest offer was revealed by Hull boss Phil Brown who held talks with the former Reading man to discuss the situation when a new and improved contract was 'tentatively' mentioned but the uncertainty goes on.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has now had three offers for the player turned down by Hull and a fourth and final offer could be on the table on Monday with recent reports, denied by Brown, suggesting all the Hull squad was for sale.
Asked if he felt Hunt would remain a City player after Monday's 5pm deadline, Brown said: "There's no doubt in my mind."
