Wolves have suffered a potentially massive blow on the injury front, as Wayne Hennessey could be out for up to nine months.

The Welsh international goalkeeper, linked with a move at the end of the season, damaged his knee towards the end of the goalless draw with Sunderland at the weekend and scans have apparently revealed a tear to his cruciate knee ligament. The damage was originally not thought to be too extensive, but until he has met a top surgeon in London to discuss the results of the scan anything is possible, although the club are not confirming anything. Wolves head of medical Steve Kemp told the Express and Star: "We'll be discussing the findings of the scan when we meet with the knee specialist in London and we'll know more in due course."
