Keeper full of determination

Wolverhampton Wanderers, 15:25, November 17, 2008

Wayne Hennessey says he is focused on getting his place back in the Wolves side and is not thinking about moving on.

The Wales international has been linked with a January move away from Molineux have lost his place to Carl Ikeme, but Mick McCarthy has indicated he wants the player to stay and Hennessey is up for the challenge.

Having started every league game last season, the 21-year-old is now ready to prove that should be first-choice once again.

Hennessey told the Press Association: "I'm working hard in training. I've got my head down and I'm away with Wales now so I'll try and get half a game or a full game and I'll go back to Wolves and continue to work hard.

"Of course it's frustrating. Carl's gone in and done well but I've just to keep working hard and hopefully my chance will come again, and take it."
