Kightly key - Edwards

Wolves winger Michael Kightly is being tipped to lead a promotion charge from the Championship nest season, if they can keep him.

There have been plenty of interested parties looking at Wolves players for the past few months as relegation became more of a certainty and they will be trying to cherry pick the club's best players. Kightly falls into that bracket but if they can keep hold of him midfielder Dave Edwards is predicting he will take the league by storm next season. "Everyone knows how important he'll be to us in the Championship - I think he'll run riot," Edwards told the Express and Star. "He was absolutely brilliant for us last time at that level and he went to Watford this season and performed well and he's performed in the Premier League too. "He'd never really had a run of games before through injuries, but he's had his run of matches now and he's been brilliant. And if we're lucky enough to keep him next season, he'll be phenomenal for us."
