McCarthy eyes former Wolves stars

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has been linked with a January swoop for out-of-favour Spurs striker Robbie Keane and Joleon Lescott.

Both Keane and Lescott began their careers with Wolves, with Keane making his debut for the club as a 17-year-old and Lescott spending six years with Wolves before moving to Everton.
Keane has been unable to force his way back into the Tottenham side and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has already admitted he could move on in January, with McCarthy keen to bolster his attacking options in a bid to push Wolves away from the drop zone.
Lescott has made just six league appearances for Manchester City so far this season and is being heavily linked with a January exit, with Wolves said to be amongst his suitors.
It has been suggested that McCarthy will fork out a fee of around £15million to secure both Keane from Spurs and Lescott from City.

Lescott = No chance.

Keano = small chance, but he isn't as good as he once was, and it's not a striker that Wolves need anyway.
