McCarthy has had his fill over United selection
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has hit back at his critics and says he has more honesty and integrity in his little finger than any of them.
McCarthy changed all ten of his outfield players from the side that won 1-0 at Spurs last weekend for the trip to Manchester United on Tuesday night and Wolves were comfortably beaten 3-0.
The critics have been out in force since that defeat, including Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, but McCarthy has clearly had enough and told them where to go.
He said: "I have got more integrity and honesty in that little finger than most of those who are accusing me. Whoever it is, I am not bothered.
"I go through the season and I complain not one jot about anybody. I try my best not to complain, I try my best not to get involved in anyone else's politics or football club or anything like that and I am not going to get involved.
"It is laughable. I have had lots of messages of support, not because anyone thinks I need it because of the decisions that I made, but because of some of the ridiculous, scathing, outrageous comments that have been made about me and what I did."
