Milijas ready to rock

Wolverhampton Wanderers, 11:19, November 4, 2009

Serbian international playmaker Nenad Milijas claims he is now ready for a prolonged run in the first team to keep Wolves up.

The former Red Star Belgrade player claims he has now adjusted to life in the English Premiership after at one point being taken out of the firing line by boss Mick McCarthy.

Two of his set piece specials saw Jody Craddock twice on the mark against Stoke at the weekend and Milijas , who was left out of the side for four matches, believes he is now ready for a long run in the side.

He told the Express and Star: "I always felt I was ready, but the gaffer decides who plays. I understand that and realise I'm not going to play every game. The Premier League was very hard maybe for me at the beginning.

"I played the first few games and felt I did well, but after that, my performances dipped a bit and the gaffer took me out of the team.

"But I'm here for the team and I want to do all I can to help Wolves stay in the Premier League."
