Chief executive Jez Moxey has revealed that Wolves have made 'one or two bids' for 'experienced Premier League players'.

The likes of Aston Villa midfielder Craig Gardner, Sheffield United defender Matthew Kilgallon and Hull veteran Kevin Kilbane have been linked with Molineux moves in recent weeks. Although Moxey won't name names, he insists Wanderers are closing in on further additions as Mick McCarthy seeks " two high quality players for every position". Moxey stated: "We have made one or two bids for permanent signings and started the process to hopefully add a couple of players. "We're always hopeful but it's never easy and there's nothing doing at the moment because nothing is straightforward on any deal and everyone has to be patient."
