New boss linked

Wolves are being linked with Brighton boss Gus Poyet as the search for a new manager goes on but they face a battle to land him.
Club owner Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxey have begun the process of finding a new man to lead them in the Championship and on Monday present incumbent Terry Connor was interviewed for the post but Poyet is also a candidate after his success with the Seagulls. West Brom are also keen to speak to him after Roy Hodgson was handed the England managers post and reports suggest Aston Villa are also keen following Alex McLeish's first season in charge. Poyet turned down Swansea in 2010 to stick with Brighton and he may take some persuading to move on so it would have to be a very good package from Wolves, especially if there were offers from Premier League clubs.
