Striker linked with Wolves switch
Wolverhampton Wanderers, 11:49, December 1, 2009 ,
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is set to make a move for Derby County striker Rob Hulse when the transfer window opens in the New Year.
The Rams leading scorer last season had looked as though he was going to make a move to Middlesbrough but that switch collapsed and he now could be available for Wolves.
It is said a fee of around £3m would be enough to tempt the Rams to part company with the striker who has been on McCarthy's radar for some time.
If Wolves are successful with a bid for Hulse then Derby boss Nigel Clough may use the cash generated to be used in part to fund a £1m bid to entice Plymouth striker Jamie Mackie to Pride Park.
