Boss Terry Connor is optimistic Stephen Hunt can still play a part in helping Wolves pull off an unlikely escape from relegation.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder has been troubled by a niggling groin injury this season and last played for the club in early March. With Jamie O'Hara out and Dave Edwards struggling to be fit for the Sunderland clash at the weekend, Connor is low on numbers, but is hoping Hunt can play a part before the end of the season. He said: "Hunt will be back in the next week to 10 days and hopefully back to full fitness and will take part in some games before the end of the season."
