Winger Michael Kightly has re-affirmed his commitment to the club and hopes the squad stay together if Wolves are relegated.

The former England Under-21 international has been in good form recently, having returned to Molineux after a successful loan stint at Championship outfit Watford earlier this season. And, after a catalogue of injuries in the past couple of years denied him the chance to play in the top-flight after he played a big part in Wolves' promotion, Kightly could have been forgiven for not wanting to take a step down if Wolves go through the Premier League trapdoor. But the former Grays Athletic star will not be knocking on Terry Connor's door to look for a move and hopes his teammates follow his lead. He said: "I've said from day one I love being at this club and we will see what happens. "I just hope most of lads stay together if go down and try and get Wolves back up. "Of course, it is up to the club who they want to bring in and whether they make changes or not. "But we've got a good bunch of lads here and we've shown we can do it before in the Championship by getting promoted. "We are realists about our situation but, if we do go down, hopefully we can bounce back up."
