Arsenal bring starlet back
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will recall Aaron Ramsey from loan on Tuesday to bolster his squad for a busy month of fixtures.
Forest manager Billy Davies was disappointed to hear the news but paid tribute to the midfielder who he believes is destined for the big time.
He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "If that's the case it's a pity we never got more use out of him.
"He has certainly been a joy to work with and a credit to himself and club."
Punters looking to take advantage of a free bet might want to look at the odds on Arsenal winning their New Year's Day clash at St Andrews against Birmingham City.
The 20-year-old's loan spell at Nottingham Forest expires after their trip to Ipswich on Monday and Wenger has indicated he will insist on the Welshman's return to London Colney.
Forest were hopeful of extending Ramsey's stay, but the Gunners boss wants him back after French midfielder Abou Diaby picked up a calf strain against Wigan.
"Ramsey will definitely come back. He did not get the number of games [at Forest] that he, or we, wanted because of the snow," Wenger said.
