A much-changed Gunners side crashed out of the EFL Cup at the quarter-finals stage last night when going down to a 2-0 home defeat against Southampton, and Wenger quickly turned his attention to the Hammers game afterwards.
Wenger will be keen to get back to winning ways as soon as possible as they look to keep the pressure on at the top of the Premier League table.
The Frenchman will return to using his strongest side against West Ham, and it is hoped that Giroud will be available following a niggling groin injury, but the same cannot be said of Cazorla.
The Spaniard is still struggling with inflammation in his Achilles and Wenger is frustrated to say the least.
“Giroud is short, but has a chance to be available for Saturday," he said. “Cazorla I don’t know, honestly. It’s just inflammation. It can go in two days, two weeks - I don’t know.
“He has no setback, the inflammation is just still here. At the moment, it’s stable.”
