Paul Lambert feels Aston Villa's two-week break from action will give the players a boost in their bid for Premier League survival.
The Villa boss watched his side jump out of the bottom three relegation places thanks to Sunday's 2-1 win against West Ham at Villa Park.
And, while Lambert might be forgiven for wanting a game this weekend to try and carry on the momentum, the Scot claims the break for the FA Cup fifth round has come at just the right time.
Villa have several players, such as Charles N'Zogbia, Gabby Agbonlahor and Karim El Ahmadi, battling to shake off respective injury and illness issues.
However, Lambert feels by the time Villa's next game against Arsenal on February 23 comes around they will be fighting fit and ready to push for another three points.
"We have got this breather now after what has been a hectic period," Lambert said.
"There have also been lads away with their various national teams. It will give them a break.
"It will also let people like Gabby and Charles recover from illness and injury.
"Charles has hurt his knee. He has this fortnight's break so hopefully he will be okay while Ron Vlaar also took a knock.
"There has also been a sickness bug at the club. Ashley Westwood had it during last week and Gabby and Karim had it the night before the West Ham game and on the day of the match.
"It was a blow but hopefully everyone will be okay and fit for the Arsenal game."
Punters looking to use their free bet might back a full strength Villa squad to continue pulling away from the drop zone and finsih in the safety of the top 10.
