Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has urged his team to bounce back quickly from Sunday's 3-0 loss to Manchester United.
The United defeat was Villa's fifth in the eight Barclays Premier League matches they have played at Villa Park this term. They have won two of those games and drawn the other.
They have accrued more points on the road, winning three, drawing three and losing twice, but overall they have triumphed just once in their last five fixtures.
And regarding his 11th-placed side, who next travel to Stoke on Saturday before hosting Crystal Palace on Boxing Day, Lambert said: "There's no point feeling sorry for ourselves.
"We have to bounce back as quick as we can.
"Whether you win, lose or draw, you look at it for a couple of days but then let it go. That's something we will do.
"We seem to be doing things the wrong way around - getting good results away from home and struggling at home.
"I always say your home form has got to be good (for you) to have any chance.
"It's something we have to rectify."
Lambert felt Villa started well against United but expressed his disappointment at the manner in which the goals - scored by Danny Welbeck in the 15th and 18th minutes and Tom Cleverley in the 52nd - had been conceded.
