Check out our pick of the bets for this weekend’s action in Italy, France and Spain…
Over in Serie A, two unbeaten records go head to head as Fiorentina host Juventus.
Fiorentina aren’t enjoying the best of seasons having won only four of their opening 13 games however, they are yet to lose a game on home soil.
Juventus, on the other hand, are the only side across Europe’s top five leagues who are still unbeaten on their travels.
At 3/5 Juventus are not great value which is why looking at the goalscorers market may be the way to go.
One man who is in form and loves to score against Fiorentina is Mario Mandzukic. The forward is currently priced at 6/4 to score anytime which isn’t a bad price considering recent stats.
In six games against Fiorentina, the Croat has scored on three occasions. Not to mention that he has scored in three consecutive games for Juventus.
With PSG 15 points clear at the top of Ligue 1, the attention turns to the race for Champions League football.
That race continues on Saturday when Lille host Lyon at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium.
The hosts have a great home record over Lyon, recording just one defeat in ten games. However, their recent run of results doesn’t inspire much confidence.
Meanwhile, Lyon have climbed to second place and are unbeaten in their last eight games. Bruno Genesio’s side are priced at 8/5 to win outright.
Despite this, the bet in this game has to be the draw at 23/20. The price is simply too big to ignore for a result that did land the last time these two sides met.
On Sunday, two of the teams in La Liga’s top four will go toe to toe as league leaders Sevilla travel to Alaves.
Over the years, the home side tends to win this fixture. That’s been the case in eight of the past nine meetings.
Should you follow that same path and back Alaves, the current price is a promising one at 13/5. However, if you think that this trend is about to end, Sevilla are even odds to win outright.
Alaves have won 10 points this season in games where they have conceded first – that is more than any other La Liga side. With that in mind, Sevilla to win the first half at 6/4 is another possible way to bet.
In terms of goalscorers, Sevilla’s Wissam Ben Yedder has got four goals in four games against Alaves. The forward is currently 6/5 to get his name on the scoresheet once more.
