Kentaro's Rovers influence increases

Sam Allardyce must wait for talks between Blackburn's owners Venky's and sports agency Kentaro before finding out his transfer kitty.

The Rovers chief and chairman John Williams have been plotting to try and bolster the squad at Ewood Park in January with a proven goal scorer and a midfielder top of the wanted list.

However news that Kentaro, who have been acting as advisors to the new owners throughout the takeover process, will now meet the Rao family to discuss 'budgets and targets' in India this week, could scupper Allardyce's plans fro the New Year transfer window.

It is thought that Kentaro could use their corporate partnership deal with Jerome Anderson's renowned Sport Entertainment and Media Group to try and introduce some of their top young foreign talent into English football through Blackburn. And, while that does not sound like a bad deal for the new owners to strike, Allardyce will no doubt want full control of who is brought in or he could possibly walk away from Rovers.
