Rhodes is route to safety - Bowyer

Gary Bowyer is happy for Barclays Premier League clubs to court Jordan Rhodes because it will mean the free-scoring striker is firing Blackburn towards safety.
That was the case in their 1-0 win over the player's former club Huddersfield, the Scotland international, 23, hitting his 25th goal of the season with an exceptional close-range volley with his back to goal following Scott Dann's knockdown.
Rovers caretaker manager Bowyer marvelled at Rhodes' instinctive qualities afterwards and referenced recent speculation linking West Ham with a summer swoop for the player.
"You saw why West Ham and other Premier League teams are linked with Jordan Rhodes and long may they continue to be linked in the press from now until the end of the season," he said. "I don't know how he puts it in, but he does.
"We've got to make sure we keep him fit and keep him on the pitch. He's got a big part to play between now and the end of the season, as has everybody. Jordan didn't control the transfer fee, he's come and done his business.
"We just need a couple more goals from him. It would be great for him to get 30 goals, that would be outstanding."
