Celebratory Clarets clash for Bolton
Bolton will begin their 2013/14 Championship campaign with a visit to fierce rivals Burnley to mark the 125th anniversary of the Football League.
Dougie Freedman will be hoping the Wanderers can avoid a repeat of last season's result, also an opening day fixture, when the Trotters went down 2-0 thanks to goals from Martin Paterson and Clarets' top-scorer Charlie Austin.
The clash will take place at Turf Moor, one of only three grounds used in the inaugural 1888/89 league season that is still in use today. The two clubs have met each other in league football on 114 occasions.
The fixtures for the remainder of the season will be announced on Wednesday morning at 9am.
