Coyle targets City star
Bolton are ready to go head to head with Wigan in a battle to sign Manchester City's highly-rated youngster Vladimir Weiss on loan.
Weiss is eager to seal a temporary move away from City in a bid to ensure he is a part of the Slovakia squad at the World Cup in South Africa.
The 20-year-old is highly regarded at Eastlands, but has seen his path to the first team blocked by the likes of Craig Bellamy, Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz and Robinho.
City boss Roberto Mancini is happy to allow Weiss to head out on loan for the rest of the season in order to gain more experience.
A number of foreign sides are also believed to be chasing Weiss, while Stoke have previously been linked with him.
