Trotters can make Europe - Coyle
Owen Coyle believes Bolton have what it takes to finish in the top six this season after Sunday's victory over West Brom.
Bolton have been one of the surprise packages of the season thus far, maintaining a top-six position for the last couple of months as they look to keep regulars like Liverpool, Aston Villa and Everton out of a European spot.
While the Boxing Day win against West Brom might have been a bit fortuitous, it does mean the Trotters head into Wednesday's game at Chelsea in sixth, two points clear of nearest rivals Sunderland.
Coyle says that he was looking at the positives from Sunday's 2-0 win rather than the negatives, claiming it was a good sign Bolton can take their chances when they come their way.
He said: "It bodes well for the rest of the season. I was disappointed not to get anything from Sunderland last week because we probably played better than we showed here but we look a goal threat every time we get on the park.
"We didn't pass the ball well enough to get into the final third as much as I would have liked but, on the occasions we did, we looked a very good team capable of scoring goals."
