Eddie Howe has admitted he almost turned down the Bournemouth job when first offered it seven years ago.

Bournemouth: Howe reveals Cherries job doubt

Howe first took charge of the Cherries on a permanent basis following a short stint in caretaker charge in January 2009 at the age of just 30.
He enjoyed a successful three-year spell in charge before opting to take over Burnley in 2011. His time at Turf Moor was short-lived, however, and he was back on the south coast with the Cherries in 2012, and hasn't looked back since.
Howe has guided Bournemouth to the Premier League and managed to keep them up against the odds last season. Now, as he prepares for his 300th game in charge of the club aged just 38, Howe has admitted he nearly rejected the chance to manage at Dean Court because he thought he was too young and inexperienced.
"I was almost a little reluctant to take the job seven years ago," he told the matchday programme for Sunday's visit of Liverpool.

"I wasn’t seeking it and wasn't desperate for the opportunity at that stage in my life. I remember getting the call and I thought it was a joke to be honest.
"I thought I was too inexperienced, too young, but I got asked to take it. That's very different to most managerial starts - and I hadn't even started yet."
Howe is now one of the most highly-regarded young English managers around and admits he's had plenty of good times with the Cherries over the years, in particular the promotions from League One and the Championship to take the club into the Premier League for the first time.
He added: "I'd say the big memories, although it sounds clichéd, are the promotions we've won. They're satisfying moments, you've achieved something long lasting - but I wouldn't put any one ahead of the other.
"You've got the Great Escape too, battling under an embargo with the team spirit of the group was another incredible memory. Our promotion from League One was special as we had a difficult start and managed to achieve something and of course, the Championship promotion, winning a title for the club."
