The Cherries recorded their largest victory since their promotion to the Premier League at the weekend, putting a hapless Tigers side to the sword to record their third win of the season.
Wilson was one of those on target during the triumph at a buoyant Vitality Stadium but was quick to play down the significance of the victory, claiming it is more important they follow up Saturday's win with another three points next week against Tottenham.
“It was just a normal day at the office,” Wilson told the Bournemouth Echo. “I’ll just go home, relax and look forward to next week. There’s nothing to cheer about. It’s a good victory but it’s a long season.
“We’re trying to be consistent. After the international break it’s a case of trying to get the momentum back.
“We’ve done everything we’ve worked on in the past two weeks in training and that showed in our performance.”
