'The Destroyer' was taken Stateside by promoter Eddie Hearn as the Matchroom chief hosted his first show in America.
Benn made his transatlantic bow as he fought his first Mexican opponent but showed no signs of nerves as he targets a potential world title push.
The 21-year-old made light work of Sanudo as vicious body shots did the damage and the referee waved off the fight in the second round, with Benn extending his record to 10-0.
With a number of titles on the horizon, Benn was happy with the experience of fighting in America and believes it will stand him in good stead in the future.
He told Sky Sports: "I really enjoyed it and got some reception here, so it's just a great experience so early in my career.
"To hit America and England is something special. It's really different.
"Here the way they do things is completely different and it will take a while to get used to it, but it is early doors and when it comes to the time to fight here - potentially for titles - I will know what I'm in for."
