The 29-year-old has been with the Seagulls since 2015 and is highly-regarded around the Amex Stadium but he has only featured in one Premier League game so far this term.
The Cameroon international was sidelined with a muscle injury but made his return to action prior to the international break in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.
The left-back faces a battle to hold onto his spot, with summer signing Markus Suttner also pushing for a place under Chris Hughton.
Bong insists he is up for the fight and has also stressed the importance of picking up results on home soil if they are to avoid relegation.
“We are different types of players and everyone knows what I can bring from the two years I have been here – I have given everything on the pitch,” Bong said.
“The manager knows that as well, so it was good for me to have 90 minutes on the pitch to help the team and I’m here when the manager needs me.
“All of the games at home are ones where we have to take three points.
“We did some good things against Arsenal and we made some mistakes, but that’s football. We will focus on the Everton match now and make sure we get the right result.”
