Lewandowski talks up Perisic surprise factor
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski feels Ivan Perisic will bring a surprise factor to the Bundesliga champions this season.
Having enjoyed a four-year spell at Inter Milan, the Croatia international is back in Germany on a loan deal with Bayern until the end of the season.
Perisic, who helped his country reach the final of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, is more than familiar with the Bundesliga, having had previous spells at Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.
Now plying his trade at Bayern, Lewandowski is happy to have the attacker on board and feels he will bring something special to the team this season.

He was quoted by the official Bundesliga website, saying: “Ivan can be quite a bit surprise for us, I’m sure of that.
“He’s good with his left, right, good in the air, strong, and dribbles well. Ivan can help us immediately or put pressure on other players in the squad and push them.”
Bayern skipper and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was also happy to see Perisic arrive and feels the Croatian will be a great asset for the campaign ahead.
Neuer added: “What you know about him is that he’s two-footed. He can play on the left and the right. If he comes, he can make us a bit more flexible.”
