Bayern considering Flick – Hoeness
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness says the club’s hierarchy will have to consider Hansi Flick when considering their next manager.
After rumbling of unrest in the Bayern dressing room, Bayern decided to part company with head coach Niko Kovac after the team’s 5-1 defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt.
Flick was brought in on an interim basis and already Bayern fans have seen a response, with the Bavarian giants securing a 2-0 win over Olympiacos in the Champions League before a 4-0 dismantling of rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Although the likes of Arsene Wenger and Massimiliano Allegri have been linked with the role at the Allianz Arena, Hoeness says the club must consider Flick after the start he’s made.
“During the talks, which are due in the next few weeks, we will certainly talk first about Hansi Flick,” Hoeness said.
“One thing is clear: after such an outstanding week, with two convincing wins, you cannot say that we’re going to send Hansi Flick away and get someone who might only be able to work for a few months.”

With the international break coming up, Bayern now have the opportunity to put the work in to select who they think will be the right man to lead the reigning Bundesliga champions forward.
Bayern are next in action on November 23 when they make the trip to Fortuna, as they look to narrow the four-point gap to current Bundesliga frontrunners Borussia Monchengladbach.
