Sancho lacking focus – Favre
Coach Lucien Favre’s benching and criticism of Jadon Sancho may hasten the youngster’s exit from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho, 19, had started all four of BVB’s Champions League games this season but was among the substitutes as the Bundesliga outfit faced Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
The England forward was introduced at the start of the second half and scored Dortmund’s goal on 77 minutes, while he also struck the crossbar as the German visitors slipped to a 3-1 defeat.
The result leaves Dortmund level with Inter on seven points in Group F, with Barca already through to the last-16 having taken 11 points from five games.

It means BVB must better Inter’s result on matchday six and the signs are good as they host basement club Slavia Prague while Inter welcome the Catalans to the San Siro.
Whether Sancho starts that game only time will tell but Favre made it clear why he chose not to include the Londoner in his starting XI.
“I explained to him before the game,” he told reporters. “I told him it was a really difficult game here in Barcelona, and we needed players that were really focused and that went on to the pitch really focused.”
Sancho has been heavily linked with Manchester United and the focus that the boss was speaking about probably refers to his future at the club.
It seems likely that the former Manchester City youth star will return to England next year and it may be sooner rather than later if he continues to be benched.
