Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says the club are in no hurry to extend the sought-after Christian Pulisic's contract.
The United States international is highly-coveted by former BVB boss, now Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, who is reported to have tabled a 13million euros offer for the teenager during the summer.
Dortmund are desperate not to lose the rising star though and informed the Reds he is not for sale.
It had been suggested that BVB would try and get Pulisic's deal extended in order to make sure there is no further speculation over his future come the winter transfer window.
However, when asked by German magazine Kicker on Monday whether they were working on an extension, Zorc said: "That's not an issue right now."
Pulisic has a contract with Dortmund until 2019 and said after scoring in Saturday's 6-0 demolition of Darmstadt that he was "just focusing on my season... I don't personally deal with negotiations."
