Hannover ready to finalise Wimmer loan
According to reports in England, Stoke defender Kevin Wimmer is set to join Hannover 96 on loan this summer.
The 25-year-old has made just 17 Premier League appearances since he joined the club last summer for £18million.
Wimmer has been deemed a flop by the Potters supporters and new coach Gary Rowett seems happy to let Wimmer go without seeing him in action.
Reports claim the Austrian has agreed to spend the next 12 months in Germany, with the option to join permanently next year.
With Stoke playing in the Championship next season, they appear happy to reduce the wage bill and Hannover are on the lookout for some fresh faces.
They finished 13th in the Bundesliga and will be hoping Wimmer can improve their fortunes during the 2018/2019 season.
